My Etsy favorites list is always filled with vintage tins. I have dreams of owning a vintage tin collection to store teas and such in. The collection has not yet been started, but someday there will be a variety of floral, turquoise, and pastel patterned tins sitting atop my china cabinet. And when that happens, you will be the first to know... if the world has not moved onto bigger and better forms of technology by then.

the OTHER MAN

I've fallen in love with another man. Well-traveled, with a pinstripe suit, a fancy hat, and a flush in his cheeks... how can I resist?

smitten with RETRO BEAUTIES

Is there an era that you would rather live in than the present? I'm not sure that I would like to live in the 1920's per se, but I would love to live in the present with 1920's fashion. Lucky for me, that has become so much more of a reality in the last year as retro hats, feather hairbands, and feminine vintage dresses are so much easier to come by. I admire the classy beauty of the 1920's woman with red lips, pink cheeks, and a plethora of gorgeous hats, dresses, and going-out clothes. Etsy is full of these inspiring women and the ones I have included below are just a sampling of the beauties available. Take a look and dream of what the 1920's version of yourself would look like...

you should be a STAR

Did you ever want to be one of your favorite old-timesy actresses? Maybe Ava Gardner or Ingrid Bergman? Or maybe you were an 80's kid who always wanted to be Molly Ringwald. If you've given up on your dream to be Audrey Hepburn or Brigitte Bardot then you probably shouldn't look at the new etsy store, Thrush. You probably shouldn't look at the beautiful dresses and accessories that can turn you into a starlet. You should probably avert your eyes from the photos below.

smitten with JADITE & MILK GLASS

I have officially started a milk glass collection thanks to The Goodwill, The Salvation Army, and my grandma. I love the milky whiteness. It reminds me of the days when I used to drink milk like it was water, the days before I was lactose intollerant. If I can't have my milk, I'll just have to have my milk glass.

I was flipping through some books at Borders and saw a beautiful collection of milk glass and jadite glass. The mint green and pure white complement each other perfectly and the moment I saw that picture, I knew that it had to be my new collection. I love color too much to keep my collection to only white. Of course the milk glass will always outnumber the jadite because it's not often I find jadite glass for 99 cents at the thrift store.

I am not the only one out there loving all this beautiful glass. Look at the enchanting collections below- big and small.
